Direct borohydride fuel cells (DBFCs) operate with liquid H2O2 and a high-energy-density NaBH4 solution. A facile, direct synthesis method using non-noble nickel catalyst for the DBFC anode is shown. The complex reaction an anion-exchange ionomer (AEI) cation-exchange (CEI) evaluated in half-cell single-cell configurations. type produces high or low local pH at active site of configuration, generating different catalytic reactions. performance compared to that palladium catalyst. selective activities oxidation hydrogen are key parameters achieving good performance. Furthermore, utilization H2 evolution measurement configuration provide more information on DBFC. CEI foam (NiF@CEI-Ni) shows highest peak power density (0.59 W cm?2) metal
